Inside Sales Representative

Toronto (Mississauga) and Ottawa (Gatineau) Offices

 

We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Adaptiv Networks team. Working with our marketing and sales teams, via phone and email, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling and marketing Adaptiv Networks offerings to new and existing partners and customers as well as building and managing a pipeline of prospects from their activities and incoming inquiries.

 

The inside sales representative works hand in hand with a Channel Sales Manager (CSM) in order to execute outbound campaigns that will drive our business and create new prospects. The Inside Sales Representative is a role with a healthy mix of inbound and outbound activities and a great way to learn and grow in a very dynamic market.

 

The primary responsibilities for this position are:

 

  • Using a multi-channel strategy, follow-up with inbound leads and transform them into qualified prospects.

  • Prospect new channel partners, specifically MSPs. Primarily with small business and mid-market clients.

  • Work alongside marketing to put out marketing campaigns both email and trade show related, including occasional presence in trade shows.

  • Process standard orders coming from our partners and input them into the SF.COM for fulfillment.

  • Assist the sales team to identify, nurture and develop opportunities with new and existing channel partners

  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with multiple prospects, outside sales executives, and partners

  • Drive timely prospect qualification intelligence to Channel Sales Manager (CSM) to help accelerate partner recruitment sales cycle

  • Manage all contact and lead activity using Salesforce.com

  • Maintain a working knowledge of company products

 

The successful candidate will not only have a passion for sales and marketing but they must also have:

 

  • Ability to execute multi-channel outbound campaigns using various tools such as mass-emails, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling to identify new business opportunities

  • Good working understanding of a channel centric sales cycle, with experience in discovery, and channel prospect education

  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customer personas

  • Knowledge and passion for the IT networking & connectivity industry

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to the changes associated to fast growth environment

  • Attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and be highly organized

  • 2-5 years of experience in outbound, inbound marketing or sales in the IT domain

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or other CRM preferred

  • Strong business acumen, work ethic, and high integrity
